I return you the enclosed letter, which I am much obliged to you for allowing me to see.
There is nothing in it which could offend any one.
I cannot help thinking // that this is a mis-understanding arising out of the folly & stupidity of some servant; & if I can I will get to the bottom of the mystery.
I am glad to hear that the pictures are to be exhibited so soon // you may rely on my help.
Mrs Dasent is out of town for the week, or she would join me in kind regards to you.
